Day 1 : Arrive Cochin
Welcome to the Queensland of the Arabian sea. Arrival
at Cochin( also known as Kochi)
The company representative shall meet you in the
arrival visitor's hall with a paging board. Transfer
to your hotel. Formalities of Check-in shall be
completed by the representative. Overnight at the
hotel Cochin - Popularly known as the Queen of the
Arabian Sea, Cochin is the oldest European settlement
in India. Frilled with backwaters and rich with
old world charm, this city has lured many a great

Tour of Cochin or "Kochi"- the palm green, commercial
captial of Kerala is known as the "Queen of the
Arabian Sea". From time immemorial, Arabs, Chinese,
Dutch, British & Portuguese seafarers followed the
sea route to Kochi & left their impression on the
town. Modern Kochi is thus a splendid mosaic of
these myriad influences. Visit the Dutch Palace,

Day 2 : Cochin - Thekkady
Morning drive on a snenic route dotted with Plantations
of rubber, cardamom, cocoa, green pepper , to the
wildlife reserve at Periyar.
Thekkady -Thekkady, located in central Kerala, is
a popular hill station and a wildlife centre. This
town, which is an important plantation centre, conjures
up images of elephants, unending chains of hills
and spice scented plantations.
In the Periyar Forest of Thekkady is one of the
finest wildlife reserves of India, Periyar Wildlife
Sanctuary. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary offers
a fairly good chance of seeing the great Indian
tiger in its natural habitat. Some of the major
attractions of Thekkady includes, Plantation Tours,
Elephant rides, Trekking and Boat cruises on the
Periyar Lake .

Day 3 : Thekkady - Periyar
- Munnar
Enjoy an early morning boat cruise on the Lake Periyar
to see wild elephants in their natural habitat.
Depart for Munnar - also known as the Kashmir of
Southern India
Munnar - Munnar is one of the prominent hill stations
in India, situated at the confluence of three mountain
streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala.
It is famous for its lush green surroundings, lakes,
reservoirs, forests, and tea estates. The quiet
environs of Munnar attract the traveler to relax
in the lap of Mother Nature. Munnar also becomes
the adventure-seeking traveler, who is interested
in paragliding. It has some of the highest tea estates
in the world.
Anamudi the highest peak in South India, towering
over 2695m is also in Munnar. In the vicinity is
the Eravikulam National Park, the home of the endangered
Nilgiri Tahr that roams on a stretch of grassland
or is seen climbing the pinnacles of the undulating
hills.
Day 4 : Munnar
Day is free to relax and walk around to absorb the
beauty of Munnar on your own.
Day 5 : KUMARAKOM (the famous Backwatwers of Kerala.
)
Transfer to Kumarakom by road. A day at leisure
at the enchanting , most natural Coconut Lagoon(
Bungalow confirmed at present), Kumararakom. Day
at leisure . The panaromic Back waters here offer
an ideal retreat to enjoy nature at its best. Enjoy
a sundowner cruise or simply relax by the poolside.
You will also be able to indulge an Ayurveda therapy
or a massage in your backwater resort.
Day 6 : Kumarakom - Alleppey
Drive a short distance before switching over to
a boat for a through many canals and waterways up
to Alleppey.
Alleppey - Alleppey (Alappuzha) is situated on the
banks of Vembanad Lake, the town's commercial centre
lives in a maze of canals. Set in the labyrinth
of backwater channels, the town is one of the best
gateways to explore the unspoilt countryside.
Alleppey attracts tourists not only by its natural
beauty but also through its locally made coir products
that are of a very superior quality. Alleppey is
also famous for its Nehru Trophy boat race held
every year. Alappuzha is a bustling, town of ramshackle
wood and corrugalated roof houses, chiefly significant
in the Coir industry and the centre for Backwater
Cruises in Kerala. The Backwaters of Alleppey can
be best experienced in a country boat.
Day 7 : Trivandrum - Kovalamt
After breakfast drive to Trivandrum . On arrival
in Trivandrum transfer to hotel in Kovalam. Latter
enjoy the day in the sand. At your choice from any
of the centres nearby, you can pamper yourself with
a herbal, body- toning massage. Overnight to be
spent at hotel.
Day 8 : Kovalam - Cape Camorin
- Kovalam
After refreshing yourself at the beaches, next morning
you will go to Cape Camorin. Visit: Padmanabhapuram
Palace & Archaeological museum - In the evening
drive back to Kovalam & spend your night with your
high - reaching memories at the hotel.
Day 9 : Departure From Trivandrum
Assistance on departure from Trivandrum for your
onward flight.
