Ladakh Outing
Buddhist Monasteries of Ladakh
Duration: 04 Nights / 05 Days.
Day 01.
After a breathtaking flight over the trans Himalayas and equally
beautiful and breathtaking landing you will be welcomed and escorted
to our hotel where room has been booked for your ready occupancy.
A little briefing on the days program and a breakfast, you are advised
to rest for the first half of the day. After lunch we will go for
an easy and relaxed orientation drive of Leh market. Overnight in
the hotel.

Day 02.
After breakfast we will visit the Spituk monastery. Enjoy your first
encounter with the beautiful Buddhist monastery and understand “
the Buddhist life”. Buddhism in this part of the
world is also part of the social life. We live religion in this
part of the world. Also visit the “ Much famed Kali Temple”
also known as the Temple of Palden Lhamo( by Buddhist). You will
see Buddhist as well Hindus( lndian army) worshipping there. Return
to hotel for lunch.
Post lunch we will visit the market and Shanti stupa( Japanese peace
Pagoda) on the nearby Hillock of Leh town. We will visit Shanti
stupa at sunset. Enjoy the scintillating view of the Leh town, upper
Leh towards khardunglha and the part of upper Indus valley. Light
at sunset or sunrise is just perfect for perfect pictures with the
Himalayan mountain ranges at the back ground.
Evening dinner at hotel.

Day 03.
Post breakfast we will today visit Ladakh’s most famous and biggest
monastic centre for “ Drukpa Kargyu lineage”( one of the important
sect of Tibetan Buddhist). From Hemis we will drive back towards
Thiksey. Thiksey is famous for its big Maitreya Statue( Maitreya,
is considered as future Buddha by the Buddhist believer). Also famous
for its beautiful architecture, from Thiksey you can enjoy fantastic
view of the surrounding mountain ranges and the Indus valley. On
our way back to the hotel for lunch, we will visit the Sindhu Ghat.
Sindhu- Indus-Singhe Khabab( in Tibetan) is source mother of the
great Indus valley civilization. The river originates from Mount
Kailash in Tibet is revered by the Sindhis, Buddhist and Hindus
equally.
Lunch at hotel.
Evening walk in the Ayu village and know the culture and life of
Ladakhi villager. Back to the hotel in time for dinner and drinks.

Day 04.
An early start to the day for our visit to Pangong lake at a distance
of 155 kilometres. This beautiful turquoise colored is worth its
drive and time. It’s value for your effort and money. Half of this
beautiful lake is in under the Chinese occupation. The visit to
the lake involve crossing of Changlha pass. Picnic lunch.
Back to hotel for dinner.

Day 05.
Timely transfer to airport to board flight back to Delhi. Connecting
flight to Mumbai.
