Tracking the tiger and following its pugmarks
takes us to central India where we visit the twin
national park of Kanha and Bandhavgarh which have
been immortalized by Rudyard Kiplings classic
The Jungle Book. Kanha National Park
is located in the eastern part of the central Indian
highland, was the inspiration behind the Jungle
Book..The park is immensely rich in game, and the
home to predators such as Tiger, Leopard, Wolf,
Striped Hyena and the Indian Wild Dog. The lesser
predators include the Indian Fox, Common Palm Civet,
Small Indian Civet, Jackal, Common and Ruddy Mongoose.The
bird count here is equally impressive-over 300 species.
